Girl: This story illustrates exactly how I feel!

[[The man continues looking through the telescope.]]
Man: So?
Girl: So, the only logical explanation is that the publisher is spying on me!

[[The girl continues her tirade.]]
Girl: Watching my every move, charting my every emotion…

[[The girl finishes.]]
Girl: My privacy is gone! My civil liberties violated! I hope my hair looks okay.

[[Silence.]]

[[The man offers a retort.]]
Man: Nobody cares that much about you.
Girl: Shut up, spy!

20 years ago (in photocomic form)

The computers tell me it was 20 years ago, June 9, 2006, that I arrived in New York for my first-ever comic convention as an exhibitor, MoCCA.

It was an important trip for me, a milestone in what would go on to become my career.

I wrote a little reminiscence on Patreon (free/unlocked) — including a first-since-then reprint of the photocomics I made at the time, documenting the trip!
